Please note that the content below was last updated on 14 October 1996; the content of this page is being preserved as-is for posterity. The only changes made since that time were (a) to update the page markup to current standards, (b) to update internal links as hosting platforms changed or to point to archive.org when available, and (c) to obscure email addresses located throughout these pages (except for USENET postings). Needless to say, many of the links to external sites are no longer functional after 20+ years.

Fingering someone at winternet from winternet works. Is there something that *hasn't* been broken yet? List of things that has been/is broken: - routing - news - mail - usermachines crashing/powercycled - fingerd not working properly - irc server not connected to efnet - HD's full (/tmp, /usr, /) - Tundra out of memory and swap - Authorization not working (server down) - ppp not working (authorization server down?) - alternet T1 not being used (routing) - web server down This is one impressive list and I'm sure I forgot something. What is left to break? :) ---- Ole Gjerde Homepage: http://www.pconline.com/~gjerde Email: gjerde@plains.nodak.edu, gjerde@pconline.com Studying Computer Science at North Dakota State University "Unix _IS_ user friendly...
