I like to {check that - I MUST} find humor in all situations. Does this
ridiculous situation remind you ofa miniature version of the RJR Nabisco
takeover, where the winners walked away with 100's of millions, and the
losers got a set of steak knives?

On a serious note, what, if any, rights do users have into the details of
this takeover - especially the supposed dastardly deed perpitrated by
Mike that caused the lockout? On one hand, we shouldn't care who runs the
console, as long as operations are available. On the other hand, we care
about the people who we work closely with, even if they are a 'supplier'.

Glad to see you re-read my post. I don't have facts. That's the point.
What will we (customers) be allowed to know?

Do we have any rights in this situation? Probably not, since we are
customers, not shareholders.

Don,

Are you now accusing Mike? Are you in the know and was there to see
this happen? Keep you fowl tongue in check because you don't know.
You have only heard one side of the story. You obviously don't give
a rip who runs the show. Your loyalties are plain as day.

Jeff

Don,

then again, now that I have reread this (at someone elses idea), maybe i was
a bit harsh in my last post. It's too damn easy to point fingers and make
accuzations. I can now see were my reply could have been done in error. I
can't take the post back but i can say i see things differently.

Jeff

PS. i hope they (winternetnet) gets their head(s) on straight

Of course we have rights. We each have the right to continue to do business
with Winternet, or to take our business elsewhere. And each we have the right
to set conditions for either.
